Promotion committee: Distribute publicity to the television and radio media; Public Service Announcements, news releases. Distribute brochures, table tents, and other promotional material to the Convention Centers, hotels, Welcome Centers. Coordinate television appearances and work with local publications on feature articles.

Fundraising Committee: Identify, cultivate and solicit current and prospective individual donors in addition to foundations and corporate donors. Examine special event and benefit opportunities and determine which to pursue each year to generate revenues for the theatre.

Production Committee: Oversee all areas of production for each show. Secure volunteers for all areas of production including Stage Manager, Lighting Designer, Sound Designer, Technical Running Crews, Costume Coordinator, Props Chairman, set construction volunteers and volunteers for special prop construction projects.

Membership Committee: Devise innovative strategies to promote the sale of season memberships. Coordinate a personal phone calling evening to possible new members and former members.

Macon Little Theatre Board of Directors needs volunteers to serve on the following committees. If you have free time and are interested in volunteering to serve on a committee and help save MLT please give us a call at (478) 477-3342

Grants Committee: Work with strategic planning and building and grounds to identify needs and dollar amounts needed for immediate and future projects. Obtain, prepare and submit grant application to proper agency or agencies, and/or foundations.

Building & Grounds Committee: Handle all maintenance problems and keep all equipment stored in a clean place and in proper working condition.

Finance Committee: Presents the proposed balanced annual budget for the next fiscal year to the Board for approval and reviews the financial reports of the Corporation, including income and expenses as related to the budget.

Season Structure Committee: Work with the Artistic Director to develop a well rounded season for upcoming year. The committee reads and discusses many different scripts along with possible audience appeal and production challenges of any given script.
