Meet the cast
Joshua Abalos
Joshua Abalos (Crony, Wolf, Chair, Ensemble) This is Joshua’s debut theatre production. He has been a fan of this film since he was a child. He is very excited to work with this cast and be a part of this production!
Virginia Alexander
Virginia Alexander (Mrs. Potts). Virginia has two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Denise and Paul and Cindy. Her two amazing sons, Derek, and Ian Braddock, and “daughter-in-love” Kristen are her biggest fans! Virginia recently completed her Education Specialist Degree in Special Education from the University of West Georgia and teaches in Macon at Vineville Academy of the Arts. Virginia’s past shows include Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, Bonnie in Anything Goes, Ms. Hannigan and Lily St. Regis in Annie, Mrs. Boyle in Mousetrap, Sister Mary Hubert in Nunsense, Clairee in Steel Magnolias, and Mrs. Hubert in Secret Garden. Her favorite Disney memory is going to the movies to see Mary Poppins as a young girl, then listening to the album and singing the songs over and over! Virginia would like to thank Sylvia and Laura for giving her this opportunity to play one of her favorite Disney characters and her family for always loving and supporting her!
Karleigh Andrieux
Karleigh Andrieux (Lady with cane, wolf, fork, Ensemble) is the daughter of Randy and Kristy, sister to Brooke and Micah(fellow cast mate and wolf) and the most blessed wife to Ryan. She works at the OrthoGA surgery center as an anesthesia and orthopedic technologist. Although Toy Story was my first movie theater experience and obsession as a kid, Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney story as an overgrown kid. This stage holds some of my favorite theater memories including: my first show, Hotbed Hotel, my first musical, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and my favorite straight play performance, Bernice in The Scarlett Girls." Rebecca Avant
Rebecca Avant (Laundry Lady, Spoon, Ensemble) Rebecca is the wife of Matt Avant, mother of EJ and Michael, bonus mom to Madison and Best Grandmother Ever (BGE) to Natalia. She is currently a stay-at-home mom but is also attending school to become a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. This is the first show Rebecca has ever been in and she is excited to be sharing the stage with her niece, Riley Gallagher. Rebecca's first Disney memory is jumping off the couch holding an open umbrella to try to fly like Mary Poppins. She would like to dedicate her performance to her Beauty and the Beast obsessed 5-year-old son, EJ. Don't let anyone dull your sparkle, my sweet boy!
Jimmy Bramble
Jimmy Bramble (Bookseller, Ensemble) is married with two children and a granddaughter. He enjoys many different creative pursuits including painting, writing, and baking. This will be his second show at MLT. Some of his credits include Carrie, Little Shop of Horrors, Harvey, and Inherent the Wind. He would like to thank Sylvia for this opportunity and looks forward to working more with MLT.
Annabelle Branch
Annabelle Branch (Sausage Curl Lady/Fork, Ensemble) This is Annabelle's third show at MLT. She was previously in Little Shop of Horrors and Legally Blonde. Most of Annabelle’s stage experience comes from her 15+ years of dancing. Annabelle is from Tifton, GA, went to Mercer, and is now an accountant living in Macon. She wants to thank her friends and family for coming to the show!
Jake Breeden
Jake Breeden (Crony, Tavern Master, Chair, Ensemble): Jake is relatively new to Macon. He just finished performing as Mr. Stephens in Carrie the Musical at MLT. His other theatre experience took place in Pensacola, FL which includes The Hobbit, Treasure Island, Rocky Horror, and The Velveteen Rabbit. This show has been on his bucket list, and he couldn’t be more excited to be a part of it!
Alicia Brown
Alicia Brown (Villager, Wolf, Spoon, Ensemble) Alicia is the child of Jennifer and Christopher Brown. Alicia attends Central High School as a senior and plans on going to Columbus State University to pursue a BFA in Design/Technology. Shows that they have recently been seen in include Spongebob: The Musical as a part of the Ensemble, and Carrie: The Musical as a part of the Ensemble. Alicia's first Disney memory is watching Cinderella with their mom and being scared of the Stepmother. They hope to work tech for many more shows around Macon, as well as possibly performing in some. They thank all of you for coming to see the show and giving them, as well as the rest of the cast, the chance to perform this classic!
Joshua Bryant
Joshua Bryant (The Candlemaker, Ensemble) This show is officially Joshua’s third musical, and it’s his first time working with Macon Little Theater. He adds that it’s been such a ride working on this show. Joshua says the director, the music teacher, and the cast have all been so awesome to work with. Being a part of this takes him back to those younger days when his little sister, Sarah, adored Beauty and the Beast. Belle was her absolute favorite Disney princess, and she would wear her Bell costume with pride. Joshua still recalls the days when he and his sister as toddlers, would do some ballroom dancing for their mom. He remembers that Sarah wore her Belle dress, and he wore a suit. They put on quite a show.
Gracie Childers
Gracie Childers (Silly Girl/Napkin, Ensemble) Gracie is so excited to be sharing the stage with her best friends in this show! A former Walt Disney World Cast Member herself, she is elated to continue spreading the Disney magic to her hometown. She was last seen on the MLT stage as Carrie in Carrie: The Musical and Judy in 9 to 5. Many thanks to her family and friends for always supporting her.
Heather Coy
Heather Coy (Belle) is thrilled to be appearing on the MLT stage for the first time. She is the art teacher at Northside High School and spends her weekends making magic running her party Princess Company, Snow Princesses. Previous credits include Shrek (Gingy), Ragtime (Evelyn Nesbit), The Addams Family (Morticia), and The Wizard of Oz (Glinda). Heather’s first Disney memory is making her mother film her singing “Part of your World” over and over again as a child. Heather would like to thank her friends and family for all of their love and support.
Cullen Cummings
Cullen Cummings (Butcher, Chair, Ensemble) Cullen is the son/Stepson of Cassandra and James Workman, as well as Kc and Janet Cummings. He is currently a student at Valdosta State University and works as a runner for Martin Snow LLC in Macon. Cullen Has been acting since 5th grade and has most recently acted in the roles of Junior Clause in Holly Jolly Folly at Warner Robins little theatre, as well as Samuel Chase in 1776 Perry Players. Cullen has grown up with Disney in his life for almost as long as he can remember, specifically growing up being read Winne the Pooh as a young child. Lastly, Cullen would like to thank his high school theater teacher Andrew Strickland for teaching him and helping him discover this show opportunity, Tyler Bryant for getting him back into theater in 2021, and lastly, he wants to thank everyone who came for supporting community theater!
Harmoni Elliott
Harmoni Elliott (Pickpocket , spoon , Ensemble) Harmoni is the daughter of Cindi Skinner-Hatcher and a friend and sibling to many other people in her life. She’s a freshman at Tattnall Square Academy (go Trojans!) Her past shows include playing Marmee in Little Women, Josie Pye in Anne of Green Gables, and Michael Wormwood in Matilda. Her first Disney memory is getting to see Disney on Ice in Atlanta when she was five years old. Another one is going to Disney Orlando and getting to see all of the characters when she was six years old. Harmoni has been doing theatre since she was three years old and simply wouldn’t have it any other way! She wishes a break a leg and a nice cup of tea to her fellow castmates!
Elinor Fenimore
Elinor Fenimore (Babette, Ensemble) is the 18-year-old daughter of Rob and Monica Fenimore. She is a senior at Stratford Academy and is heavily involved in the drama department as Drama Club and Thespian President. She is currently in rehearsals for Stratford's Winter Musical, Mamma Mia, where she will play Sophie Sheridan. Although she has been performing on the MLT Stage since the age of 4, she was most recently seen as Margot in Legally Blonde and Norma in Carrie, The Musical. Elinor's first Disney memory is running up to any rock she saw as a child to sing “Part of Your World.” Elinor is grateful for another opportunity to perform alongside some of her best friends and she hopes you enjoy the show!
Ben Fowler
Ben Fowler (Baker, Stanley, Salt & Pepper, Ensemble) Ben is no stranger to the stage, yet this is his first time acting at MLT. He is a graduate from Liberty University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Theatre Arts. He currently works as an RBT at Chancelight Behavioral Health. Some of Ben’s past performances include Les Miserables at York Little Theatre (Thenardier), Jonah at Sight and Sound (Ensemble), Beauty & The Beast at Red Land Community Theater (Lefou) and working at Hershey Trolley Works with Hershey’s Chocolate World (Various Roles). Ben’s earliest Disney memory would be watching his favorite Disney Princess, Kuzco, on his VHS copy of Emperor’s New Groove as a kid. Ben would like to thank his family and friends for supporting him and hopes you enjoy the show!
Sheniqua Freeman
Sheniqua Freeman (Aristocratic Lady, Fork in the castle, Villager) Family Info: Wife of Macon Bibb fire Sgt. Bernard Freeman Jr. and mother of LeVaughn Scott. She has three dogs, one of which played Bruiser this Summer in MLT's production of Legally Blonde. She has a bachelor’s in criminal justice with a minor in Political Science from Fort Valley State University. Here at MLT some of her roles include Ronette in Little Shop of Horrors and the Sugar Plum Fairy in Shrek. Sheniqua's first Disney memory is watching the Rescuers with her younger sister over and over for months. She hopes you enjoy the show and would like to thank you all for coming.
Riley Gallagher
Riley Gallagher (Cheese seller, flower arrangement, Ensemble) is very excited to be a part of one of her favorite Disney productions! Riley is the 15-year-old daughter of Laurie and Steven Gallagher; she attends Crawford County High School where she is a sophomore. She enjoys playing the trumpet in the band and spinning a flag with her favorite color guard team. She’s been previously seen on stage at MLT in Anne of Green Gables and Legally Blonde. Her first Disney memory is sitting on the couch brushing her hair while watching Tangled, only hoping for her hair to be as long as Rapunzel’s. She wishes a great showing for both the audience and her fellow cast members!
Holly Goodman
Holly Goodman (Silly Girl, Napkin, Ensemble) is a nurse practitioner specialized in the field of cardiology. In her free time, she loves running, working out, and playing with the coolest nephews and nieces in the world. Holly has been performing since she was 7, some of her favorite roles include Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, Esmeralda in Hunchback of Notre Dame, Cosette in Les Miserables, Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins, and Laurey in Oklahoma. Holly has been in love with theatre forever, first appearing onstage before she was even born! Her first professional musical experience was watching “Beauty and the Beast” as a 4-year-old girl with big dreams. Holly is so grateful she got to be part of this group! She would like to thank her amazing family, and Sylvia and Laura for all their support and encouragement!
Anna Graves
Anna Graves (School Girl, Flower, Ensemble) Anna is the daughter of Laura and Tim Graves and sister of Andy and Kate Graves. She also has three cats, Snowflake, Holly, and Zuko. Anna is a student at Academy for Classical Education, where her One Act class recently won state competition. Anna has been in many shows at MLT including Shrek, Matilda, Anne of Green Gables, and, most recently, Legally Blonde. Her first Disney memory is dressing up as Belle for Halloween when she was 6-year-old. She is very excited to be a part of this incredible cast and amazing show.
Sterling Gray Grisamore
Sterling Gray Grisamore (Chip or Villager/Sultan) Sterling Gray is the daughter of Grant and Summer Sterling Grisamore and sister to Brewer, Ginny Pope and Bennett Grisamore. She is in the 2nd grade at Stratford Academy, where she was bit by the theater bug! Past shows include Sally in Frank N. Stein for Class President, Little Anna in Frozen, Jr as well as part of the Ensemble for Shrek, the Musical. She will also be performing as Julia in MLT Kids upcoming show Angels “R” Us. Sterling Gray’s first Disney memory is dressing up as Belle at her princess themed 4th birthday party. She loves to read, dance, sing and act, and is super excited for her first mainstage performance at MLT!
Cassidy Hall
Cassidy Hall (Silly Girl, Napkin, Ensemble) Cassidy Hall is 20 years old and the daughter of Thurman and Holly Hall. This is Cassidy’s 3rd time being in this show, and her 2nd time doing it here at MLT with Ms. Haynie and Ms. Voss! Her most recent MLT credits include Chris in Carrie, Vivienne in Legally Blonde, Violet in 9 to 5, and Ensemble in Little Shop of Horrors and Songs for a New World. She is so glad that she was able to share this experience with some of her best friends!
Ashlee Haynie
Ashlee Haynie (Lady with a Baby, Flower Arrangement, Ensemble) is excited to be back in Beauty and the Beast for the second time, this time with her daughter Lumi & sister Kaley! It was the first show she ever did at MLT back in 2007 (shoutout to Kaitlin & Colby) and has had a special place in her heart ever since. It's only fitting that Lumi also makes her stage debut in the same production. More recently, you may have seen her as Ms. Gardner in Carrie the Musical, Elle's mom in Legally Blonde, the Unexpected Cop in Clue, and in the Ensemble of Songs for a New World. Her earliest Disney memory is playing in her seat when her parents took her to see Snow White at the movie theatre and when she turned around backwards, a woman behind her playfully shushed her. Much love to the Gilmer/Jordan/Haynie fam.
Luminara Haynie
Luminara Haynie (Baby with a Lady) has no clue what's going on, but she's having fun. This is her first time onstage outside of the womb, though you may have seen her chilling in her mama's belly during Clue & Songs for a New World. You can also often find her working the box office before performances with her aunt Kaley or her dad. Her only Disney experience so far is watching Bluey with her mom. Thank you to Dammaw & Nanny for casting her and thank you to Grams, Mamaday, Carla, Wap-Wap, Ba, and all her aunts and uncles for supporting her.
Tim Hinojosa
Tim Hinojosa (Gaston) Tim is thrilled to be returning to MLT where he was last seen as Clopin in The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Previous credits include Urinetown (Cladwell) and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Pseudolus) at Westminster College, The Last Five Years (Jamie) at the Birdhouse Theatre, COMPANY! (Bobby) and Avenue Q (Princeton) under Jim Crisp at Theatre Macon, Something Rotten (Nick Bottom), and A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (Monty Navarro). For Tim, it was seeing a production of Beauty and the Beast on the West End nearly 25 years ago that launched his love of Theatre, so he is beyond grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this production. “Thank you to Sylvia, Laura, and JP for your leadership and professionalism on this project. And, thank you to my close friends and family for their unwavering support. I wouldn’t be here without you.”
Kanon Hinson
Kanon Layne Hinson (Fruit seller, wolf, spoon, Ensemble) Kanon is the daughter of Ms. Kris Cannon and Mrs. Susan Akins. She is currently a senior at Stratford Academy and is planning to go to college to study astrophysics. She is also a longtime teammate of Swim Macon Aquatic Center. Past shows include playing Alice in Carrie the Musical, Evie in Descendants, and Elsa in Frozen, Jr. Kanon has only been performing for eight months, but is so happy to find herself in yet another Disney musical.
Alan Jaenz
Alan Jaenz (Prince, Gargoyle, Knife, Villager) Alan is the son of Nestor and Holly Jaenz, brother to Evan, Lillian, and Linda Jaenz, and Keeper of 2 beautiful pit bulls and 1 purrfect cat. He is also currently a senior at Houston County High School. Alan has been doing shows here at MLT constantly for roughly a year now, being a part of the ensemble for 9-5, Little Shop of Horrors, and Legally Blonde, but more recently appearing as Michelle the Conductor in Murder on the Orient Express and as Freddy in Carrie. Alan's first Disney memory was watching The Sword in the Stone on repeat for months as a child. He can't wait for you to enjoy the show!
Evan Jaenz
Evan Jaenz (Villager/Broom, Ensemble) is the son of Nestor and Holly Jaenz who has one brother (also in the cast) and two younger sisters. He has several MLT credits including Disney’s Descendants.
Mandy Johnson
Mandy Johnson (Marie the Baker’s Wife, Wolf, Flatware, Ensemble) Mandy is the daughter of James and Wendy Johnson and the sister of Claudia Johnson (makeup extraordinaire). She is a recent Graduate of Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre. In college her past roles included: Charlotte Corday in The Revolutionists, Detective Harold Who in WhoYouMeSomeone, and Kitty in Bedtime. Her first Disney memory is never wanting to grow up just like Peter Pan, and even though she has aged, she believes she’s been successful. Mandy hopes with all her heart that you enjoy the show and show your love to this theater and all the theaters around!
Kaley Jordan
Kaley Jordan (Flower Seller, Flower Arrangement, Ensemble) is a full-time nanny & a part-time photographer, and she has enjoyed being back at MLT. The last time she was on MLT's stage was as a Delta Nu in the Greek chorus of Legally Blonde in 2014. She loves going to Disney World and one of her favorite memories is visiting Toy Story Land for the first time. Kaley has loved meeting so many new people, making new friends, and having so many family moments with her sister Ashlee & her niece Lumi.
Steven Little
Steven Little (Beast) Steven started his acting career in 2009 where he acted in a Folgers coffee commercial, where he also wrote the commercial jingle. Right then, he realized that acting was his thing. In 2012 and 2013 he won the Fox24 local news talent show Macon Idol and went on to perform live at intermission of American idol finale in California. Loving the stage life, he then created his own stage play production company, Jean Porter Legacy Production's. Which is named after his late mother. He has put on 10 stage play productions with 7 of the 10 being sellouts. He has his biggest production yet coming spring of 2023.
Rylie McIlrath
Rylie McIlrath (Seamstress, Flower, Ensemble) Rylie is the daughter of Joshua Mcilrath and Sandy Bailey. She is also the oldest of six siblings. This is her first show with Macon Little Theatre and couldn’t be more excited to be part of this amazing story. Rylie's first Disney memory is watching Aladdin on repeat as this was her favorite Disney movie. She can’t wait for you to be emerged in this amazing tale of love and hopes you enjoy the show. She would also like to so say thank you for the opportunity and “break a leg” to the most amazing cast.
Jahi Mendes
Jahi Mendes (Tom, Fork, Fight Double, Ensemble) Jahi is an English teacher at Central High School and is finishing his Masters in Technical Writing. He has performed in multiple shows at both MLT and Theatre Macon. Jahi's first Disney memory was watching Winnie the Pooh and dreaming of one day being Tigger's best friend. Hopefully, that day can still come.
Declan Myers
Declan Myers (Shepherd and Gaston’s Guy Dick, Ensemble) Declan is the son of Daniel and Jennifer Myers and brother to Betsy Myers. Declan is a Junior at First Presbyterian Day School. His favorite Disney memory would have to be his very first show playing Cruella’s henchman Horace in 101 Dalmatians in 2nd grade which started his love of theatre! Some of his favorite past performances are Eugene in Brighton Beach Memoirs, Tom Snout in Something Rotten! and most recently the Clown in Elephant’s Graveyard. Thank you to Mrs. Haynie, Mrs. Voss and the amazing cast and crew of Beauty and the Beast!
Abbie Paris
Abbie Paris (Madame de le Grande Bouche) Abbie is the daughter of Nathan and Sarah Paris, sister of Jack and Olivia, and dog mom to sweet Missy. Abbie is a graduate of Mercer’s Townsend School of Music where she studied voice with Marie Roberts, sang with the Mercer Singers, and performed with the Mercer Opera. Most recently, you might have seen Abbie as the Soprano Soloist in Handel’s Messiah with the Mercer University Choir or Despina in Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutte, Goldilocks in The Tale of Goldilocks, and/or Kate in Pirates of Penzance with Mercer Opera. This “tale as old as time” holds a special place in Abbie’s heart, and she is excited to share this enchanted tale with you today. To her castmates, a big “CHEERS” and thank you!
Mikaela Pavin
Mikaela Pavin (Silly Girl, Napkin, Ensemble) Mikaela is a graduate of Mercer University and has her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She currently teaches in Bibb County as a special education teacher in inclusion pre-k and kindergarten. Past shows at MLT include Trip to Bountiful and Ragtime. As someone who has been silly and singing Disney songs her whole life, she is thrilled at the opportunity to do it on stage with such a wonderful and talented cast. She would like to thank her family and friends for all their support.
Kacy Polk
Kacy Polk (Lady with Cane, Wolf, Spoon, Villager, Ensemble) is a daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin, and friend! She holds a bachelor’s degree in Theatre from Covenant College, and her previous work with MLT includes Cecily Pigeon in The Odd Couple, and Liz Vandiver in The Scarlett Girls. She’s also appeared in Covenant College’s production of On the Verge as Mary Baltimore, and the Warner Robins Little Theatre production of Steel Magnolias as Annelle. Her first Disney memory is watching Snow White and the Seven Dwarves for the first time and being traumatized by the Evil Queen as the Witch! (In fact, she was traumatized by many Disney villains as a child-she still has nightmares about Ursula! But she loves Disney nonetheless!) Thanks for coming to see our show! Chas Pridgen
Chas Pridgen (Lumiere) is a graduate of Mercer University, where he obtained a degree in Theatre and Journalism. He currently works at the Grand Opera House downtown as the Director of Patron Services and Rentals. Some of his favorite credits include Jenny in Company, the Emcee in Cabaret, and Chuck in Footloose. It's a very well-rounded resume. Chas controversially doesn't like Disneyworld because it honestly just stresses him out and he isn't built for that much walking. Enjoy zee show!
Robert Rosengart
Robert Rosengart (Cogsworth) A recently retired Radiologist, Robert is married to his wife, Theresa (30 years!) and is father to their now adult son, Marc. Fun fact: Marc was cast as Chip when Beauty and the Beast was last performed years ago on the MLT stage and now that “Chip” is 25 years old! Some of Robert's favorites roles are playing Scrooge in Scrooge, The Musical, the Lion in The Wizard of Oz, FDR in Annie, and the Chairman in The Mystery of Edwin Drood. He also enjoys acting in the annual Spirits of October benefit for the Macon's Riverside Cemetery Conservancy bringing local historical figures and other fascinating “locals” to life. Robert's favorite Disney childhood memory is the special effects at the Haunted Mansion ride at the Magic Kingdom. In keeping with his love of all things haunted, an early job was being a DeeJay at a radio station, where his on-air moniker was of course...the Ghost Host! He also enjoys rooting for his alma mater...GO DAWGS!
Ella Smith
Ella Smith (Bird seller, Mop, Ensemble) Ella is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Smith and sister to David Smith. She is currently a junior at Central High School. This is her first show at MLT. Although she has played witch in Hansel and Gretal, Nehebka in AIDA to name a few. Ella's first Disney memory is interchangeable as her childhood was filled with Disney's wonder and magic. She also wishes her fellow cast castmates to "break-a-leg"
Gabrielle Sowell
Gabrielle Sowell (silly girl/napkin) is excited to be a part of this production of Beauty and The Beast. This is her third time doing this show and by far her favorite, she is so thankful for the cast she has gotten to know and work with. Gabrielle is the 19-year-old daughter of Deirdre and Randy Sowell and sister to Jared and Andrea and she would like to express gratitude to them for the endless love and support. Ever since her first time doing Beauty and The Beast, nearly ten years ago, she wanted to be a silly girl or a napkin at least once and she is beyond excited to finally live out two dream roles at once with some of her closest friends. She is so excited to for people to see this show and she hopes audiences are just as excited.
DJ Spires
DJ Spires (Egg Seller, Chair, Ensemble) DJ lives as an only child with his mom, Mary, and stepdad, Kyle, and as the dreaded Middle Child with his dad, Dallas, and stepmom, Jess. He is his cat Vader's and his dog Kilik's favorite human, much to the chagrin of his mother who thinks that they are her pets. DJ is a freshman at First Presbyterian Day School and started his theatre career there, where he has played roles including The Cheshire Cat in Alice's Adventures with Poorly Cooked Cafeteria Seafood, Beast (Disney's Descendants), and Gaston's Cronie in their production of Beauty and the Beast. His favorite Disney memory is flying the Millennium Falcon on a Disney Cruise when he was 10. He also enjoyed eating escargot on the cruise but didn't even try the Grey Stuff. He looks forward to one day trying the Grey Stuff.
Melody Tyner
Melody Tyner (Butcher’s Wife, Fork, Ensemble) Melody Tyner is the daughter of Dan and Carol Tyner and big sister to Judson and Tucker. She is a senior at the Academy for Classical Education and participates in the chorus, band, and marching band. Melody has been in many shows here at Macon Little Theatre, some of her recent roles being Diana Barry in Anne of Green Gables, Fairy Godmother in Descendants, and was in the Ensemble in Legally Blonde. Melody absolutely loves all things Disney, so she is excited and thankful to be a part of this show!
Tyler Vaughan
Tyler Vaughan (Lefou) Tyler is the son of Suzie Oliver and Grandson of Brad and Gail Oliver. He graduated from Berry College with his B.S. in psychology and is currently a 4th year medical student at Mercer School of Medicine. He has performed other roles at MLT such as Billy in Carrie and various characters in Legally Blonde. Tyler would like to thank each of you for supporting MLT and he hopes you enjoy the show!
Elliott Wall
Elliott Wall (Maurice) Elliott is a music therapist practicing at The Medical Center Atrium here in Macon, and has been performing at every level for the past 30 years. Past shows include playing Matthew Cuthbert in Anne of Green Gables, Mr. Mushnik in Little Shop of Horrors, and Mayor Josiah Dobbs in Bright Star. Elliott would like to thank this fantastic cast and crew, Sylvia & Laura, his wife Sheree' and daughter Lorelai for continuing to allow him to explore and expand his love of the stage.
Abigail Watson
Abigail May Watson (Enchantress, Coatrack, Villager, Ensemble) Abigail is the 15 y/o daughter of Lewis and Amy Watson. Abigail is a homeschooled sophomore in high school and has been participating in theatre for over five years. Most recently you would have seen her on the MLT stage as Frieda in Carrie the Musical. You may have also seen her in 13 Jr and White Christmas, both at Theatre Macon. Abigail’s first Disney memory was getting to play Young Anna in Frozen Jr at both MLT and TM.
Matthew Watson
Matthew Watson (Chip or Villager/Sultan)
Matthew is the 9-year-old son to Lewis and Amy Watson. He loves chess, reading, and playing outside with his siblings. Even though he is making his theatre debut in this show, he’s not new to the stage. He’s been a student at The Madison Studio for 3 years and was most recently the Prince in the ballet, Coppelia. He’s enjoyed being in a show with his big sister, Abigail. “Thank you, Ms. Haynie and Ms. Voss, for letting me be a part of this musical!”
Micah Woodard
Micah Woodard (Crony, Wolf, Knife, Monsieur D’Arque, Ensemble) Micah is the son of Randy and Kristy Woodard and brother to Brooke (Jack) Henson and Karleigh (Ryan) Andrieux. Micah is a real estate agent with Soneva Real Estate, teaches piano at Mikado Academy of Music, and a pianist at Tattnall Square Baptist Church. He is excited to return to the stage after his first and only show at Macon Little Theatre, Disney’s Hunchback of Notre Dame. He is a longtime fan of Disney classics and is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this production. Please, be our guest and enjoy the show!
Sylvia Haynie
Sylvia Haynie (DIRECTOR) has been so proud of the many shows, both mainstage and youth-oriented that she and wife, Laura Voss have been able to direct for Macon Little Theatre. Sylvia’s parents were huge supporters of theatre and directors in their own right in Hawkinsville, Georgia. So, it’s no surprise that both her children (JP Haynie & F. Haynie) have followed along with careers in the theatre arts. JP (MLT’s Artistic Director) and his wife Ashlee actually met because Sylvia had directed Ashlee in several shows (including the 2007 production of BEAUTY and the BEAST) and thought she might be the perfect daughter-in-law! Now Ashlee and JP have a beautiful daughter of their own, Lumi, who will be making her acting debut in her Nanny, Laura and Dammaw, Sylvia’s big show. And what Disney memory could be better than that?
Laura Voss
Laura Voss (MUSIC DIRECTOR) is thrilled to again be sharing the directing chores with her wife, Sylvia Haynie, and collaborating with her son, JP who designed the set, lights, special effects and serves as MLT Artistic Director. She’s also pleased to be working with such a talented cast and loves the energy and sound they bring to this production. She and Sylvia have co-owned the Academy of the Performing Arts since 2004 and recently directed MLT’s summer blockbuster, Legally Blonde alongside choreographer Jenny Morris. Together with Haynie, Laura co-directed Disney’s Descendants back in June, which was the seventeenth summer MLT Kids Camp collaboration with the APA. Ms. Voss recently retired after being a band director for 39 years and plans to spend more time with her beautiful granddaughter, Lumi (who is appearing as Baby with a Lady in this show.) Sharing the stage with her talented mom, Ashlee. Laura grew up in central Florida and visited Disney World as often as possible while growing up. Her most special Disney memory was getting to take the Haunted Mansion Ride at age 11 - all by herself (literally as the only person on the ride) way back in the first days after the park opened in 1971.
JP Haynie (Artistic Director MLT)
This is JP’s second full season as Artistic Director here at MLT. JP graduated from Stratford Academy and Mercer (here in Macon) and has a master’s degree from UCF. Select credits include Film/tv: Men in Black III, The Good Wife, Boardwalk Empire, New York: Cat Gets Credit Card, Kriep, Regional: Thin Air Theatre Company, Canterbury Theatre, American Family Theatre, Seaside Music Theatre. After 10 years of working in New York as an actor, JP returned to Macon in 2019 to start a family with his wife Ashlee. They welcomed their daughter Lumi in January of 2022 and cannot wait to get her on the same stage where her dad grew up.
